About The Workshop

It’s the perfect time to reset and refresh with a practice that warms, energises and restores. Harnessing the benefits of heat and cold, this workshop is designed to invigorate your system and leave you feeling renewed.

Across the two hours, Becky Lennox and I guide you through breathwork, a flowing Hot Yoga practice (around 30°C), slower held postures and Yin. Gentle hands-on adjustments are offered throughout to refine alignment and support ease. We then step into the garden for a cold plunge (around 10°C), finishing with a fresh juice shot and a warming cup of chai.

All levels welcome.

The Benefits

This isn’t about pushing limits or chasing extremes. It’s about understanding how heat, breath, movement and cold affect your body, and learning how to use them in a way that actually supports you.

By the end of the workshop, you can expect to:

FAQ

  • No. This workshop is suitable for beginners and regular practitioners

  • No. You are welcome to stay snug in the warmth if you wish. You choose your level of adventure.

  • Not suitable for:

    • Pregnancy

    • Severe cardiovascular conditions

    • Uncontrolled high blood pressure

    • Fever, acute illness or recent surgery

    • Anyone advised to avoid heat exposure

    If you’re unsure, feel free to check with your GP or email me before booking.

  • Yes. Please park on Middle Hill, opposite The Beehive Pub.
    You’ll see “The Retreat” number 6 is towards the end on the left.

    • A yoga mat if you prefer to use your own (mats and grippy towels provided)

    • A grippy towel for your mat if you have one

    • Swimsuit or clothing you’re comfortable getting wet

    • Flip flops for stepping into the garden after the cold plunge

    • A warm robe or dry towel

    • Dry clothes to go home in

    • Any toiletries if you wish to shower

    Please let us know of any allergies for the detox shot.
