MY YOGA BACKGROUND
I am a senior yoga teacher, teacher trainer and former YogaLondon course leader. Alongside regular classes and private sessions, I lead retreats, workshops and continuing professional development (CPD) training for yoga teachers.
I first tried yoga when I was about 19. I loved it and have been practising ever since.
I started teaching informally long before taking my first formal qualification - a Hatha Yoga foundation course accredited by the British Wheel of Yoga. That led to both 200-hour and 500-hour teacher trainings in Ashtanga Vinyasa, accredited by Yoga Alliance (US).
I’ve since expanded into a range of styles and am qualified to teach Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Aerial Yoga, Hot Yoga and Animal Flow. I’m always learning; curious about how the body works, how people learn, and how yoga can meet us where we are.
As a Yoga Teacher Trainer and former YogaLondon Course Leader, I’ve had the privilege of guiding hundreds of students through their teacher training journey. I spent many years with YogaLondon, one of Europe’s leading yoga schools, and have collaborated with other training providers to support new teachers with both structure and finding their own teaching voice.
“Sandra has a way to make you feel great about everything you’re doing. She is knowledgeable and capable and shares her wealth of yogi wisdom without pretense, making everyone feel capable and enriched. I love it!”

MY YOGA PHILOSOPHY
I am a cynical, questioning, passionate egoist with a big bottom. How can I possibly 'do yoga'?
Yoga is about 'finding your true self', whatever that means for you. For me, it is finding a moment to ignore the non-stop brain chatter that swirls in my head. I get on my mat and move and breathe and eventually, I find a fleeting moment where all I focus on is that movement and that breath and there is peace. Afterwards I feel wonderful.
